Flight
If you're flying domestically into D.C., Washington Regan National Airport (DCA) is the easiest for getting into the city from the airport. You can use a taxi or Uber/Lyft and it's directly on the metro line.

Dulles International Airport (IAD) is a little further outside the city and requires a transfer to a bus, but may be slightly cheaper depending on where you're flying from. For international guest, Dulles is the closest airport.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is a little further outside the city and requires a transfer to a bus, but may be slightly cheaper depending on where you're flying from. It tends to be the cheapest to fly into and is on an Amtrak line into the city.
Train
If Amtrak is more your style, you can take it into the heart of the city, Union Station. This will bring you close to the area of DC we'll be located in.

Suggested neighborhoods are Brookland, Capitol Hill, H Street, Navy Yard, Columbia Heights and Petworth.
