John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

New York has a few local airports but the best for international flights, and best domestic rates, is JFK. Depending on your flight arrival time and New York City traffic, the car ride to the venue can range from 1.5 hour to 3.5 hours.

Getting Around

We recommend that if you want freedom to travel around West Point and see the sights, your own car is the best way to do that. If you are going to base yourself at the Thayer Hotel and not stray too far, you could get away with walking around the Academy and schedule Uber/Lyft rides.
