San Francisco is the worlds smallest big city... 7 miles x 7 miles to be exact. If you are planning on staying in the city the rest of your holiday weekend, I would recommend getting around via public transit or Uber/Lyft. Ladies... Bring flat shoes to walk around in if you are planning on exploring. The hills are REALLY real.

Flight
SFO or OAK
SFO will have the most options flight wise. If you are planning on flying Southwest, look at flights in and out of OAK. You can take BART from both airports directly into the city (around $12/pp) or take a quick (or not so quick if you fly in around rush hour) Uber for about $50 depending on the time of the day.
