Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking women to wear a black long dress (ankle or floor length) and men to wear a black tux or suit with a black bow tie or tie. We will have a coat closet, so if you are bringing a light coat, please do not put it on the back of your chair and put it in the closet when you arrive.

Is there no wedding ceremony?

Answer

You may notice on your invite that it specifically says "wedding reception". We are having a small ceremony with our wedding party and immediate family a couple of hours before the reception. We will have a nice 5 minute video recapping our vows and what the beginning of the day looked like so you can have a peak into the fun before the real party!

What time should I arrive?

We ask that everyone to be at the reception venue by 5:15pm at the latest.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately if a plus one is not listed specifically on your invite we ask just the names on the invite come. We are very tight on space, so we are not planning for anyone outside of the invites.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As most know, we LOVE your kids. We are keeping our wedding to 21+ over only. If you are bringing your kiddos to the city for the weekend with help from a family member, we would love to host them at our welcome drinks (kiddos and family members as a thank you for coming).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a public parking lot on site that charges by the hour. We ask that you please Uber/Lyft since we cannot guarantee spots and we want all of our guests to feel free to consume as much alcohol they would like without the thought of driving :-)

What if I can't make the wedding?

Answer

If you can't make it, we are hosting a wedding shower in St. Louis for our midwest friends and family that cannot make it. If you would like to attend this, please reach out to us directly at jasonandalixandra@gmail.com
