Like any modern day love story, Jason and Ali met on the ever so popular online dating app, Hinge. Unknown to Ali, they had actually matched on Hinge once before as well as Bumble. You know what they say, third time is the charm. Ali initiated the first date, and with Jason's busy schedule they agreed on Sunday to a Tuesday evening date at the J Parker rooftop in Lincoln Park Chicago. From there they went to two other bars, ending at an empty piano bar for one last drink before Jason walked Ali home and said goodbye. From there, it was a balance of Jason and Ali learning how to prioritize each other with Jason in graduate school and Ali running around downtown Chicago trying to get Red Bull sold into all of her accounts. After 6 months together, Jason graduated from PA school and moved back to California for the summer before he started his first full time position at a hospital. This summer was the moment that they both knew this was the real deal. Ali took around 6 red eyes back and forth from Chicago to California to see Jason and spend as much time as she could with him. This is when they planned their first vacation to Mexico City together and started to really think about a future. Once Jason moved back to Chicago in July, the two were inseparable and made the decision to move in together in October. Ali and Morty moved into Jason's apartment that was supposed to be suitable for just one person and decided they needed more space to let their love and relationship really grow. They moved into their apartment in Noble Square in February of 2023 and started to build a beautiful life together as true partners. Fast forward a year and a half later, Jason got down on one knee and asked Ali to be his wife and to spend the rest of their days together. Jason and Ali currently still reside in Chicago with the plan to move to San Francisco before the wedding to be closer to family and finish wedding planning. They are both so excited to start their lives together as husband and wife in a new city surrounded by so many friends and family.
