I’ve always considered her family, and I’m so excited to finally have the paperwork to prove it!

Meet Alexis, Isaiah’s step-sister and the official 'Life of the Party!' Alexis and I actually knew each other before Isaiah and I even started dating, but watching our friendship turn into a true sisterhood has been one of my favorite parts of this journey. She is the definition of high-energy and hilarious, but behind the laughs, she has the biggest heart of anyone I know. Alexis is the person who will always be there to listen to you and offer advice. Even if she doesn’t exactly know how to solve the problem, she will try her absolute best to help you figure it out anyway. She’s the friend who shows up for the small moments just as much as the big ones. Get ready for some serious fun, because when 'Free Bird' is in the room, the party has officially started!

Meet Haley! Our story started on the softball field at the same recreation park where Isaiah and I eventually coached, and we’ve been through it all together since day one. We’ve celebrated birthdays, went on family vacations and so much more. Even during the seasons where life got busy and we weren't as close, we always knew we had each other—no matter how much time passed, we could always pick up exactly where we left off without skipping a beat. Haley has been my constant through breakups, big life changes, and even the joy of her own wedding. She’s the person thats been there for every major milestone. Whether we are reminiscing about our softball days or planning our next time to see one another, she is the friend I’ve always counted on. Having her stand by my side as I start this new chapter means the world to me.

They say some people come into your life for a reason, and Taylor (aka 'Tay Bae') is the absolute definition of that. From our random adventures and endless silly dance videos to basically sharing a wardrobe, she is one of the only people who consistently matches my energy, no matter the vibe. Beyond the laughs and the viral TikTok attempts, Tay has been my absolute rock. She is the kind of friend who shows up regardless of the situation—no questions asked. She has a heart of gold and has carried me through some of my toughest times, always knowing exactly what I need to hear. Whether we’re blaring music in the car or just sitting in silence, life is just better with her in it. When the reception starts, you can count on seeing her right in the center of the dance circle leading the pack! I’m so incredibly lucky to have her standing by my side as I officially become a James.

Lauren and I go all the way back to our high school days, and she’s been a constant in my life through every major milestone. From shopping for pageant and prom dresses to sharing clothes, secrets, and way too much "TMI," she has truly seen it all. She’s my personal hairdresser, my go-to snack maker, and the friend who always makes sure I stay in line (while still agreeing with me even when I’m wrong!). Honestly, Lauren should probably pay my phone bill with how often we are giving each other live updates. While she isn’t exactly the "affectionate" type, I know she loves me deeply—she even let me hug her once! Whether she’s giving me directions when I’m lost or forcing me to go Black Friday shopping at 4:00 AM, she is the definition of a true friend who knows me inside and out. Fair warning: don’t be surprised if you catch her on the mic singing ‘Unwritten’ at the top of her lungs before the night is over!

Our story started in the most random place—working together at a firework store. Oddly enough, Katey actually didn’t like me in the beginning, which is so ironic now because I’m told I’m one of the only people she’s actually nice to! She eventually realized she can’t live without me, and the feeling is 100% mutual. Even with our busy lifestyles, we’ve always made sure to cut out time for one another. She even made it easier by moving just 10 minutes away from me—and while she might not admit it, I’m convinced she moved there just to be closer to me! Katey is always down for a good time or a long phone call to catch up, even when the last time we talked was just yesterday. She is one of the strongest people I know and inspires me to be myself and live life to the fullest. Whether we are sharing clothes, oversharing way too much information, or hitting a workout, she’s the one I want by my side. She’s enjoys a good margarita just as much as I do, so you’ll definitely find us toasting to the new Mr. and Mrs. James!

Lindsee and I met in nursing school, where our clinical instructor quickly nicknamed us the 'Terror Twins.' We were—and still are—completely inseparable, famously turning even the simplest errand into a two-person task. She was the light that kept me sane through the stress of school, and she has remained a constant, steady source of joy in my life ever since. Lindsee is the sunniest person you’ll ever meet. She is my personal 'ginger,' my dance teacher, and my go-to bartender all rolled into one. She is incredibly caring, so much fun to be around, and someone I hold so incredibly dear to my heart. Whether she’s teaching a new dance move or brightening the room with her smile, our wedding wouldn't be the same without Lindsee Lou by my side!

Charlotte and I have known each other since middle school, but our friendship truly blossomed in the most unexpected way—when we randomly ended up on the same cruise as her and her boyfriend, Collin! That trip changed everything, and we’ve been two peas in the same pod ever since. Charlotte is the person who knows my life and my family tree better than I do. She is my voice of reason who keeps me moving forward when I’m not sure which direction to go, and she always knows exactly how to keep me sane and laughing. At the wedding, you’ll definitely find her on the dance floor singing along to a song she doesn’t actually know the words to, because that is just the definition of the charlotte thing to do. She is the friend I never knew I needed, but I know she has a permanent spot in my life forever.
