The Wedding Website of LaTonya Jones and Alissa Johnson
The 1920s Harlem Renaissance era was remembered for its unique and over-the-top clothing styles. The fashions featured ornamental flourishes such as feathers and lace. Women's dresses were full and flowing, while men usually wore garments with puffed sleeves and form-fitting waists over suit or tuxedo pants. Men wore berets and caps, while women wore feathers, veils, or garlands in their hair. To make sure our Engagement Party theme is fully experienced, we ask that you arrive in attire based on the links provided below. It is certainly fine to opt-out of adhering to the theme, however we do ask that you stay within the formal to semi-formal dress requirements.
