Are there shuttles to/from the wedding?

Answer

You bet! For guests at The Draftsman, Marriott, and Hampton Inn, please meet in the lobby of your hotel at 3:30pm (there will be a bus at each hotel). Buses will depart promptly at 3:40pm. For guests at The Omni, locals, and guests at rental houses, please meet at the bus stop on Water Street outside of The Omni at 3:30pm. Bus will depart promptly at 3:40pm. There will also be a shuttle to safely bring you to the after party or hotel. There will also be an early shuttle if your feet start hurting before 11.

I'm driving myself - what's the address?

Answer

Are you SURE you want to drive yourself? You could just hop on one of the buses stationed at the 4 hotels and avoid needing to navigate a decently rural farm area with limited GPS service... Ok, if you're sure about this: We recommend you follow these written directions from the venue (from Route 64W) -Take exit 121 Scottsville/Charlottesville -Head toward Scottsville onto Route 20 South (travel approx. 16 miles) -Take a LEFT onto James River Road (Route 726) -Arrive at a stop sign and take a LEFT onto Blenheim Road (travel approx. 2-3 miles) -The sign for Mount Ida Farm and Vineyard will be to your RIGHT -Cross through the iron gates and take a quick LEFT. Follow road to Event Barn The ceremony and reception are at The Event Barn at Mount Ida Farm - 6903 Blenheim Road, Scottsville, VA. If you do insist on using your GPS, please plug the precise address into Google Maps as there are 4 separate venues at Mount Ida and we'd hate for you to get lost. Do NOT just enter "Mount Ida Farm" into your GPS - it will definitely take you to the wrong location, plus cell service IS VERY SPOTTY in Scottsville, so once you realize your mistake, you're going to get panicky and it'll be trouble all around.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

If you are driving yourself, please make sure you arrive by 4:45pm. Due to noise on gravel roads, late attendees will miss the ceremony (which will begin *promptly* at 5pm).

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We're registered at a beautiful local store called Be Just, as well as Zola. You can see them both on the Registry tab. (Scroll to the bottom of the Registry page for the link for the Be Just registry)

Are my kids invited?

We love your kids, we really do, but they are not invited to the wedding. Cheers to a night out! We promise it'll be fun.

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

They'll be wearing eucalyptus green, but don't stress if you were also hoping to wear a green dress. You can still be our friend.

Is there a dress code?

Formal attire requested. Think: suits and floor length dresses (though cocktail dresses, tuxes, and gowns won't be out of place either!). Bring your dancing shoes!
