FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Once you have received your invitation, please RSVP by September 30.

Question

What should I wear to the celebration?

Answer

Our wedding will be a Halloween-themed wedding. Formal attire, cocktail attire with a moody, magical flair, or super fabulous costumes --go all out--make it wedding-worthy! Please do not wear full-face masks (we want to see your faces!). Come dressed to impress...the living and the dead!

Question

Can I bring a date or kids?

Answer

Please check your invitation for names listed. Please make sure kids are supervised, as there are multiple areas in the Georgetown Ballroom, and safety is the priority.

Question

Gifts

Answer

As many of you have to travel to celebrate with us, your presence is the best gift we could receive. If you wish to bless us with a present, you can donate to our honeymoon and newlywed fund through Venmo, @KeynanAndAliena.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras?

Answer

We ask that you do not take pictures during the ceremony. We will have a photographer there to take care of that. For the reception, we would love you to take pictures and share them, using a fun "disposable camera" app called POV, you can scan a QR code at the venue, then take photos that will upload into a wedding album for everyone to see! Additionally, there will be a photo booth where you can take single or group pictures to commemorate the night (and your costumes). Please make sure phones are silenced and camera flashes are off during the ceremony and speeches.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

Welcome to Washington, where the weather is funny! The key is to layer clothing. It can be sunny earlier in the day and grey and raining later, or much colder if the sun isn't out. Weather is especially unpredictable in Fall and Winter, so dress accordingly.

Question

Is the celebration Indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception are indoors, but if weather permits, there will be games on the outdoor patio.

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is no on-site parking and limited local street parking. Guests are STRONGLY encouraged to take a ride share or taxi transportation to the venue. There will be an area in front of the venue identified for drop off of guests.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, all main areas of the Ballroom are wheelchair accessible except the Bride and Groom suites.

Question

Where can I stay the night?

Answer

The Washington Activity Club is the hotel recommended by the wedding venue. You can find their website here: https://www.wac.net/stay-at-the-inn/accommodations/ The Georgetown Inn is only 0.5 miles from the venue (walkable) and has solid reviews. Their website is here: https://www.georgetowninnseattle.com/ Citizen M Pioneer Square is a modern hotel in a main part of Seattle, where you can find the guided Underground Tour, art galleries, bars, and more. It is 5 miles (about 10-15min) away from the venue. Their website is here: https://www.citizenm.com/hotels/america/seattle/pioneer-square-hotel Of course, there are many hotels in Seattle, so please take your time and find something to enjoy.
