Alicia and Erin met at UNI in 2009. Since then they have shared many laughs, boy stories, happy hours, and bottles (or boxes) of wine. Sean entrusted Erin to keep the engagement ring safe until he proposed. Let's hope Alicia can trust Erin to not embarrass her too badly during her speech! Alicia is thankful to have had Erin in her 2020 "bubble".

Best Man
Matt is Sean's older brother. He lives in Rapid City, SD with his wife and two dogs. Matt and Sean share a love of soccer and music.

Katie is Sean's lovely sister-in-law. Katie and Alicia became fast friends when her and Matt came to visit Des Moines for the first time. She is a wine connoisseur, but can't handle dairy products, so no feeding her cheese at the reception.
Dustin Johnson

Sean and Dustin got to know each other through the workplace, as well as after work tennis matches. Dustin loves vacations, watches and gaming.
Gioconda Zoller

Alicia and Gioconda (Gia) met while serving in the Peace Corps in Peru. The two gals soon became besties after sharing a hostel in the jungle. Although they now live in separate parts of the country, they still manage to chat and have the occasional rendezvous.
Dillon Bauer

Dillon is the Matron of Honor's husband. He is a great guy, a great cook, and a great partner for Erin. Dillon and Sean were doomed to be friends.
Madelyn Moisa

Madelyn (Maddy) is Alicia's eldest niece. She is incredibly smart, precocious, and has a knack for baking and singing. She didn't hesitate to call the future groom "Uncle Sean" even before they were engaged.
Ashley Baumann

Alicia and Ashley met in 2008 when they lived next door to each other in the dorms and to be honest, Alicia and Ashley were not instant friends. Time, tears, stubbornness, laughs, drunkenness, and a pandemic have made their friendship incredibly strong.

Alex is the sister of the Matron of Honor and a Kansas City transplant. Alicia could not help but become friends with Alex when she came to UNI. She is hilarious (and not bad to look at either!).

Alicia and Michelle met at UNI (do you see a pattern with UNI?) Michelle has a history of taking care of Drunk Alicia. Michelle also took care of Alicia's beauty needs in college and now it only makes sense for Michelle to take care of her beauty needs on the big day.

Madox is Alicia's nephew. He is a lover of LEGOs, star wars, and shares a love of cooking with his aunt.

Naomi is Alicia's youngest niece. She is a feisty one with lots of energy and imagination. The couple is excited for her to welcome the bride down the aisle.
Jessica Elwell

Alicia and Jessica became friends in 2nd grade. They have been through so much together over the years. Jessica is now living in Chicago and is a practicing massage therapist. Alicia cannot think of a better person to marry her and Sean.
Justin Taylor

Alicia and Justin met at (you guessed it!) UNI while they were both baristas at the on-campus coffee shop "Chats". They giggled endlessly while working together and the rest is history. He is currently pursuing his Physician's Assistant degree at Duke University.

Chris is the boyfriend of the couple's officiant, Jessica. Chris is an incredibly talented pianist and will be performing during the cocktail hour and has been tasked with the playlist for the reception.
