Answer

While our state has lifted mandates, our venue continues with restrictions. We are limited to 55 guests. Socially distanced seating is required and masks will be required when not seated at a table. We appreciate your cooperation.

How can I help?

The couple is seeking help with baked goods for the reception, and setup/teardown at the venue. Please reach out to the bride-to-be if you’re able to lend a hand.

Is there parking at venue?

Answer

The Raccoon River Nature Lodge has plenty of parking in their public lot.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Since it is an outdoor ceremony and Sunday Funday-themed, there is no need to be fancy. Think garden party/smart casual attire: slacks, button down, skirts, flower dresses, etc. It may be chilly during the ceremony so layers are recommended.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We adore your kids, but with our capacity restrictions we will not be able include children outside of the family in our invites.

Is there a backup location in case of rain?

Answer

We are hoping for great weather on our big day, (Universe you owe us) but if mother earth has other plans we will only move inside if severe weather occurs. Light rain does not scare us, but If you're afraid of melting please bring an umbrella and a light jacket. In case of severe weather we will move our ceremony inside the Nature Lodge.
