Proposal Story
3 weeks before their 10 year anniversary, Watson asked what she wanted to do to celebrate their anniversary. Alice was busy with work so told him we can figure it out at a later date (already suspicious since he is the make a reso a day before kind of guy). Watson later came home and said he made a reservation.
On the same weekend as their anniversary, Alice's friend Sharon and her partner Han was coming down to San Diego for a work event. Sharon said she had tickets to a magic show on Saturday in La Jolla with a very strict dress code.
On their anniversary, as Alice was getting ready Watson said "You're dressing up? You should dress up for the magic show tomorrow instead". They went to dinner and Watson got drunk off one glass of wine. Alice drove home and went to bed early (everyone thought Alice was mad Watson didn't propose).
The next day, they got dressed up and drove to the "magic show" only to find a beautiful set-up where Watson got on one knee and asked the question.
