Travel & Accomodation

Whether you're making the journey from across the globe in Australia or travelling to join us from within India, your presence at our wedding means the world to us! We're so excited to celebrate with all of you. For our guests flying in from Australia, we know it's a significant trip, and we're deeply appreciative of your effort. Our experience is travelling through Delhi to Udaipur, but there are many different options. We hope these details help you as you plan your travel so you can enjoy the Wedding and travel around India.

Travel Note

VISA requirement

Guests travelling from Australia will require a Visa to enter India. You will need to do this in advance of travel, as it takes a number of days to be processed. Please use the website below (click on 'view'), as there are many scam websites selling fake Indian Visas. You must have a PRINTED copy of the Visa approval to get through immigration in India.

Flight

Flying from Australia to India

There are many options for flying from Australia to India. Qantas has direct flights from Melbourne to Delhi on a seasonal basis, and multiple other airlines offer connecting flights through their major hubs. Direct Flights: Qantas: - Sydney to Bengaluru - Melbourne-Delhi (seasonal - resuming in October 2025 on Mon, Thu and Sat). Connecting Flights : Singapore Airlines (via Singapore) Malaysia Airlines (via Kuala Lumpur) Thai Airways (via Bangkok) Cathay Pacific (via Hong Kong) Note - Air India also has direct flights from Australia, but based on reviews and their safety record we don't recommend booking with this airline.

Delhi Travel Notes

Guests who fly into Delhi may like to spend some time travelling in the city. Head to the "Things to do" section for our recommendations for Delhi.

Flight

Delhi to Udaipur

There are two airlines that fly direct from Delhi to Udaipur, Air India and IndiGo. We flew with IndiGo and found it a smooth process. The booking website is: https://www.goindigo.in/. The flight time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Both Delhi and Udaipur airports are modern and easy to navigate.

Udaipur Travel Notes

Guests who have the time before or after the Wedding may like to spend some time travelling in Udaipur. Head to the "Things to do" section for our recommendations for Udaipur.
