The Haldi ceremony is a fun, pre-wedding ritual where a tumeric based paste is applied to the bride and groom by family and friends for good luck and to bless them. It's a vibrant, relaxed event. We'll have some lawn games set up so everyone can mingle, have some laughs, and enjoy the festive atmosphere while the Haldi traditions take place.

The Mehendi and Sangeet are pre-wedding celebrations that we'll be combining into a night of fantastic fun under the stars. The Mehendi ceremony involves the application of henna (mehendi) patterns onto the bride's hands and feet, symbolizing beauty, joy, and good fortune. Sangeet is a "musical evening" where family and friends come together to celebrate through music and dance. You can expect lively music, group performances, and spontaneous dances. Delicious food and vibrant decorations are also key elements of this combined celebration, making it a truly immersive experience. Feel free to participate, enjoy the music, and soak in the celebratory atmosphere!

The Baraat and Phera form the Wedding Ceremony. The Baraat is the Groom's celebratory procession to the wedding, and will commence just after 1pm. The Phera is the central, sacred ritual that symbolises the Bride and Groom's commitment to each other. The Phera will commence at the auspicious time of 2.36pm. Please arrive at 1pm for this event. A note on attire - please avoid red clothes for this event. This colour is traditionally reserved for the bride. Guests may choose to change outfits between the wedding ceremony and reception, but this is not necessary.
