La Aurora International Airport - Guatemala City, Guatemala
La Aurora airport is located in Guatemala City, an hour drive away from Antigua, but with traffic it can take up to two hours. To avoid such traffic, we recommend you fly in after 9am or in the evening, if possible. The wedding is on a Saturday, so we recommend you fly in on Thursday or earlier, if you'd like, to get situated. International flights to Guatemala resumed on September 18th 2020. At the moment, a negative covid test result is required (it can be the antigen test or PCR test) 72 hours before boarding, IF you are not vaccinated. If you are vaccinated, you just have to show. your card.

Depending on where you plan to stay, some hotels offer a free airport pick-up and drop-off service already, so we suggest you plan this out with them once you are booked. If you opt to book an airbnb, we ask that you please provide us with your itinerary and we will help you find someone trustworthy for airport pick up and drop off. The cost for this travel is no more than $20 one way per group.
