A delicious restaurant + Winery with an amazing rooftop at the center of Antigua. A must!
This is a hidden bar inside another bar! It's behind a London Styled Telephone both, you'd never think it were there. There's *no menu* simply let them what taste your in the mood for and they make it for you. No two drinks are alike. Good vibes!
Live the 1920's experience at this 1920's themed cocktail bar. They have a tasty menu to pair with your yummy drinks and have live music from Thursday - Saturday night.
One of Michelle's favorite restaurants in Antigua. This restaurant can be found in the famous "calle del arco" right beneath the arch. Their tacos and margaritas are finger licking' good.
Highly recommended! If you're in the mood for a great steak paired with wine or your choice of cocktail, this is for you!
An award winning restaurant in the heart of Antigua! A must! The food is amazing and the roof top views as well. A great date night option or simply for fine dining.
A literal hole in the wall restaurant. This is the place to go to for AUTHENTIC Guatemalan food. I highly recommend the caldo de res and pepian paired with a papaya smoothie! **chef's kiss**
A favorite smoothie bar! Delicious eats and amazing smoothies! Great for breakfast or lunch
chocolate museum where you can also make chocolate yourself and try tasty hot chocolate, cholate covered bananas and such! A great dessert activity
This is a beautiful combination of a nomadic kitchen restaurant/bar and a vintage clothing boutique. A unique experience for sure! The food is amazing! Highly recommend.
A great breakfast/brunch place!
A beautiful Jade studio where you can shop modern jade pieces and even make your own piece. There is a jade workshop you can sign up for. You will choose your own jade and mold it to whatever shape you'd like and into whatever jewelry piece you desire. A must do! Open from Wednesday - Sunday. Call/email before to reserve your workshop. It's truly a beautiful place.
One of the nicest outdoor lounge places in town. There are a variety of food options and an amazingly beautiful rooftop bar as well as a pool. A great place to hangout and have a good time. Hold off on this one though! Who ever would like to join Alex and I for brunch here on Sunday after the wedding, is more than welcome to come. More details given upon arrival.
One of the most beautiful spas in Antigua. I highly recommend this!! You'll feel like a million bucks. There's a beautiful ruin inside to explore as well and a five star award winning restaurant inside the hotel as well.
A must visit while here! This Finca is 30 minutes outside of Antigua, but is such a beautiful place to visit. You won't regret it. There's a great restaurant, bar and fun outdoor activities to do such as horseback riding, a coffee tour and not to mention! You will be right at the skirt of Volcano de Fuego! It's the backdrop to the whole restaurant and if you're lucky, you'll see it erupt lava. Yes, it's an active volcano, and so worth the view while you eat and drink at their restaurant.
If you like crafted beer, food and good vibes, this is for you! It's 20 minutes outside of antigua with an amazing view!
Another great outdoor brewery! Aside from great Guatemalan beer, there are a lot of fun activities to do, food and fire places to roast marshmallows. A fun place to goo at night.
This place is a literal farm to table restaurant. You could spend the whole afternoon here exploring their organic market full of things grown in their farm, having the most fresh and tasty meal ever, enjoying live music and digesting your meal while you roam the actual farm right behind the restaurant. You'll see how they grow their plants, veggies and flowers. Have fun looking at the animals.
This is the name to just one of my favorite Ruins in Guatemala. I don't want to hear that you came to Antigua and didn't come here, okay? Great for photos and to explore! It's one of Antigua's charm and super cheap entrance fee. There are so many other ruins around town. Please feel free to visit as many as you can.
A great hike to do with a group of friends/ family, kids included. This is an active volcano where you will be able to see lava flowing from afar while still hiking the volcano. Once you reach the top, you'll be able to roast marshmallows using the heat from the lava beneath your feet. No need to worry, it's safe.
If you're up for a challenge, this overnight hike is for you! SO, SO WORTH IT! A once in a lifetime experience. This is one of the highest volcanoes in Central America. When you reach the top you will be able to enjoy an amazing sunset and sunrise as well as the view of volcano de Fuego right next to you as it erupts lava. You'll get amazing photos! Book through a travel agency in Antigua.
Guatemala is known for its coffee. Please visit this cafe! Super cute and amazing coffee!
