On August 15, 2021, we were planning on moving into our new Chicago apartment and had agreed to meet the person who would hand over the keys that morning.  Little did Alexis know, however, that Jake had already arranged to get the keys early.  When they arrived at their new home, Jake took Alexis to the rooftop and gave Alexis her new set of keys, which happened to have a beautiful engagement ring attached.  He got down on one knee, and she overwhelmingly said yes.
