Located 25 minutes south of Kansas City, in Prairie Village Kansas, The Inn at Meadowbrook is a lovely boutique hotel situated among the many winding trails, streams, and playgrounds of Meadowbrook Park. Our ceremony and reception will all be held the Inn. The ceremony will be held on the Inn's lawn terrace, after which guests will migrate to the restaurant, Verbena, located immediately next door for refreshments and brunch. There will be a pre-selected menu for brunch that guests will order from. The weather in Kansas in June will be pleasant, although it can be somewhat unpredictable (looking at you Wizard of Oz). Chances are good that it will be warm, although we hope having the ceremony and reception in the morning will avoid any late afternoon heat. Please pray for no storms.

Rehearsal Dinner

All guests are invited to attend our rehearsal dinner, which will be at our favorite BBQ spot, about 20 minutes south of the wedding venue. Casual attire is highly recommended.

Ceremony + Brunch Reception

Summer garden party attire recommended but nothing too fancy. Hats encouraged.

Our ceremony will begin at 10:30 AM. After the ceremony, guests will be able to enjoy refreshments at Verbena Restaurant, which is next door to the hotel. Brunch will be served at noon.

Optional Downtown KC Party Bus Excursion

Meet at the Inn at Meadowbrook

For guests who are so inclined, we are going to rent a party bus to take us out in downtown KC in the evening. We will go to some local bars and music venues to celebrate. Exact itinerary is TBD.
