If you plan to be in the area for a few days, here are some of our favorite spots!

Our venue is on the outskirts of the park, and the Blue Ridge Mountains can be seen from the venue. The Appalachian Trail is also very near. We highly recommend a hike near or in the park!

Shenandoah National Park

Our favorite spots include the Tidal Basin, the Constitution Gardens, and of course, the top of the steps at the Lincoln Memorial.

National Mall

We lived here during our first year in the DC metro area. Window shopping, the waterfront, cute restaurants, and a town square, all in the Ice Cream Cone Capital!
