No ties please :) Think sport coats and sundresses - something comfortable for outdoor wear in June on grass and other uneven surfaces. Make sure to wear something you can play cornhole in!
Our venue is in beautiful wine country near Shenandoah National Park and the Appalachian Trail. One hour and 30 minutes from DC, surrounded by quaint towns with a lot of amenities, it's the perfect getaway from the city. You'll see farms and wineries on your way out of DC, and you'll see ALL the stars when it gets dark. Note: Look for signs on your way in, the last few minutes of your drive is down an unpaved road.
Yes! We will be coordinating a shuttle to and from the airport on the day of the wedding for those that would like to split the cost of a shared bus. By sharing costs between riders, the bus will be a great way to keep transportation costs down. Note: If you would like to take part in the shared shuttle, please RSVP by April 1.
Our wedding will be on Saturday afternoon. We encourage those that are able to explore the city or the national park. We will not be hosting additional events beyond Saturday, but we look forward to connecting casually with folks that may be in town.
