After a heartbreaking Badger football loss, Ben followed his friends to a Midsommar themed birthday party for Lexi's roommate. Ben and Lexi struck up a conversation in the kitchen and ended up talking all night. Ben gave Lexi a hug on his way out the door, and the rest is history.

On our yearly getaway to Door County, we were sharing a bottle of wine in Sunset Beach park when he popped the question. Ben had planned the perfect evening with a sunset picnic and dinner at our favorite restaurant. Of course, I said yes!
