Maid of Honor
“I met Alex (aka Pickle), my niece, when she was 2 weeks old and I was 2.5 years old. While I can’t remember this moment, I’ve been told that I loved her from the start and wanted to hold her close to me. As we grew up, we became more like sisters and have held each other close through the tough times and good ones. She’s one of my best friends and I admire her authenticity, kindness, and creativity. I love her with all my heart and I’m so happy to see her with someone who truly gets and loves her with all their heart. I met Jay at the beginning of their relationship in Brooklyn and could tell from the start that something beautiful was forming. I love Jay like family already and can’t wait to make it official!”

“I’m Jay’s cousin. However, she’s the older sister I’ve never had. We were raised together and shared a deeper relationship.”

“Literally Allie’s brother, I was forced to meet her… When I developed comprehensive eyesight at the age of 2-4 months I recognized her, that’s my sister, Allie. From that moment on we developed a relationship.”

“Jay is easily my favorite cousin! I remember from a young age looking up to them, and always wanting to be them. Jay is someone I know I can always run to if I have a problem or even I just want to catch up.”

“When I first met Alex, we were both undergrad students at Temple. Our friendship blossomed when we worked together at the White Dog Café in 2018. She is one of the most caring, selfless, and hilarious people I have ever known. Alex’s energy is truly unmatched, and I can’t imagine my life without her. When I had the opportunity to meet Jay two years ago, we quickly bonded over our shared love of feta (duh!). I immediately saw that Alex had found her twin flame. Together, Alex and Jay are the silliest, most creative, and most loving couple I know. Not to mention the BEST looking!!! I am so grateful and honored to be part of their wedding party. I love you guys! ❤”

“When I first met Jay, we were a bunch of silly young adults, doing what young adults do best. She was always the nicest and sweetest and let’s not forget nonchalantly hilarious! Everything about her was just incredibly good vibes. Not too many years after knowing Jay, I got the pleasure to meet Alex and I was pregnant with my son at the time. Alex was (and forever will be) stunning and on top of that, she managed to still keep in contact after all these years and comes to NYC to see my son Carmelo during the holidays, and he loses it when they both come around! These two have my heart and I am so happy that I get to share this unforgettably beautiful moment with them.”

“I met Alex and Jay when they first moved to Alabama and they’ve always been a pair to me- I rarely ever see one without the other. Alex and I bonded over a shared love of shrubbery while Jay and I have the same awful sense of humor. The joy and love that they bring to everything they do is so genuine and honest- I’m gifted to have earned their friendship and I can’t imagine my life without them both constantly in my business. Wishing them both infinite love and wellness in their marriage."

“I met Jay and Alex in Birmingham, AL. We immediately clicked and grew closer (developing our own personal relationships) as time went on. I admire their love for each other and the love that they both give to everyone around them as well. I see them as lifetime friends and I’m so honored to get to be apart of their special day!”

“My favorite moment with Alex was the first time we ever met. We partied all night, and when we finally made it back to my parent’s house around 3am, we both were hysterically laughing so loud it woke my parents…Alex is no longer invited to my parent’s house and to this day we STILL don’t know what we were laughing about lol. We always have great times together and I hope to have many more! Can’t wait for the wedding! Love you both.”

“I use to work at a bar called Brooklyn Tap House in Brooklyn, NY as a waitress/bartender. Jay became my regular customer on Monday nights for .50cent wings. Then later after she applied for a job at the bar and that's when our friendship began. Years passed then, I met Alex through Jay. So I gained another friend and the rest is history. Love you both Jay & Alex!”

“I met Alex and Jay through a mutual friend after moving to Philadelphia a couple years ago. We immediately hit it off and ended up becoming great friends! Alex and I both had been living in the city by ourselves, and we were both queer artists navigating the city! I’m so glad I was introduced to her. She’s one of the most understanding, kind, energetic and loving people I’ve ever met! Jay and Alex are such a beautiful, fun, and hilarious couple. Their energy is unmatched and I could not be more honored to be a part of their ceremony. ❤”

“I met Jay Litterally the day I moved to NYC at 19 years old by myself back in 2018. I was so nervous but once I met we instantly clicked & started making music, having long conversations about nothing & calling each other every other day to hang out. Kind hearted people are hard to come by but I'm beyond thankful I met a good soul like Jay & Alex!”

“Allie and I met shortly after we both started our freshman year of high school at Gwynedd Mercy. We instantly connected and became inseparable!! Through thick and thin we navigated and got each other through 4 years at an all girls school! Although when going to college we drifted a bit, whenever we would chat or see each other it was like no time had gone by at all! She will always be like a sister to me and I can’t wait to stand by her side on her wedding day!”

“I’ve known Jailene damn near my whole life. We’ve been best friends since kindergarten. Jailene was always quiet so I did most of the yapping. I thought she found me annoying until one day my dad bought me to her house and we drew on the concrete with street chalk and she wrote our names and put BFF next to it. I should’ve known right then and there how gay she was 😂😂😂. Kidding. Nah but I can go on and on with stories from this lifelong friendship, I choose to wait until the wedding to share the embarrassing ones. When Jailene met Alex she told me about how much fun she had. Eventually their relationship has blossomed to this beautiful union and I already loved Alex because I seen how happy she made Jailene. I finally met Alex possibly 2018, I can’t remember the year butttt I remember we went to Brooklyn tap house and had a great time. I love both of you guys and I’m so happy for y’all.”
