Where is the venue?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Ridge at Verterra in Northport, about 35-40 minutes outside of Traverse City. Shuttle bus transportation will be provided from Traverse City to the venue and back as noted below.

Are kids welcome?

We kindly request that there be no children less than high school age at the wedding (with the exception of immediate family). Enjoy the night off and let loose!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue, though cars cannot be left there overnight.

Will the wedding take place outside?

Answer

Yes, the wedding and reception will be outdoors. There is an outdoor covered patio that the ceremony will take place at if there is rain. The weather is usually in the 70's during the day and 50-60's at night in early September. Heaters will be available as needed, though bringing a coat/sweater may be a good idea for at night!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will have a shuttle to transport guests to the venue and back. There will be a pickup location downtown Traverse City at Hotel Indigo as well as from the Tru By Hilton. PICKUP WILL BE AT 2:15p SHARP. Ubers are also available, though may require longer wait times for the return trip, so I would recommend utilizing the shuttle or plan to have a designated driver/carpool if you plan on drinking!
