Our Story

As the legend goes, he spotted her in the grocery store egg aisle and said, “you look egg-cellent.” In reality? She forgot to deactivate Tinder after a stint abroad, and he had really great hair. It was an immediate match. After a month of his "good morning" texts, they finally met for Reuben Day at Madison Social in Tallahassee on Oct 17, 2017. They haven't missed a beat since. Through the grind of her Ph.D. in Florida to her big career move to D.C., they’ve been each other's constant. After five years of living separately with roommates, she moved into his 452-square-foot studio "temporarily." It went so well she never left, though they did upgrade to a two-bedroom to accommodate her wardrobe and more recently, established their first true home base together as she took the leap into homeownership.

Our Vision

Big energy, intentional connection, and a "more is more" approach to celebration. The day is designed to feel less like a formal obligation and more like the party of the year. The aesthetic is Contemporary Maximalism - a "Gallery-Meets-Club" atmosphere that favors bold impact over clutter. They are bringing together the many different worlds that have shaped them, from Florida to D.C. and everywhere in between. This is a space for high-energy, joyfully unfiltered, and inclusive celebration where they want you to feel comfortable, safe, and free to show up as your most authentic self. This isn’t just a wedding; it’s a launchpad for their next chapter, and it wouldn't be complete without the full, diverse spectrum of the people they love.

Our Logo

AD² weaves together their names (Alexandra and Andrew) and their nicknames (Drew and Drea) into a single symbol. Rooted in identity and intention, it reflects a partnership that is multiplicative, not additive. Squaring AD represents how their connection amplifies their individual strengths, creating a life together that is far greater than the sum of its parts.
