February 2021 - Masked up in NYC on one of our first trips together (i.e. evidence of a love sparked during the height of COVID).

April 2021 - Trip to DC toward the end of our post-bac year at Bryn Mawr. Despite the deceiving background, we sadly missed the “peak bloom” of the famous DC cherry blossoms 😔

May 2021 - Alex's first time (of many) being Pete's wedding date -- this occasion at a beautiful vineyard in Dahlonega, Georgia!

July 2021 - Our first international trip together to Alex's family's hometown, Olsztyn, Poland! Little did we know this restaurant would one day be our wedding venue...

July 2021 - A summer evening's stroll through Olsztyn's Old Town!

July 2021 - Our first night together in Ann Arbor! Pete had just started medical school at UM while Alex began a 1-year research job at the UM hospital.

October 2021 - Our first trip to Mackinac Island together. It didn't take long to convince Alex that there's no place quite like Michigan (especially up north!)

December 2021 - Spending Christmas together in Pete's hometown of Williamston, Michigan (God's Country, according to Pete).

July 2022 - Northern Michigan beach trip (which quickly became a yearly tradition).

July 2022 - Mackinac Island (Round #2!). So good we had to come back again (this time with Alex's parents too).

July 2022 - Alex started medical school at UM and we were lucky to spend the next 3 years together at the same school!

December 2022 - Ski trip to Stowe! *photo taken seconds before Alex flew past Pete down the mountain*

July 2023 - Another Northern Michigan beach trip with friends!

July 2023 - Alex’s favorite hike in Northern Michigan along Empire Bluff Trail. A picture doesn’t do the view (or water colors) justice!

September 2023 - Cheering on Michigan at the Big House. Despite Alex’s disdain for all things American football, she quickly realized (and accepted) that life in Ann Arbor revolves around the sport.

September 2023 - Trip to Austin, Texas with friends after Pete completed his clerkship year of medical school.

October 2023 - Hiking in Ann Arbor with our favorite four-legged friend, Ozzie <3

August 2024 - Another wedding, this time in Northern California!

August 2024 - No Northern Michigan camping trip is complete without a hike along Lake Michigan (you can sense a theme here!)

September 2024 - The first leg of our next European vacation was spent in London, so naturally, Alex took an obligatory red telephone box photo.

September 2024 - Exploring the Alhambra in Granada, Spain.

October 2024 - Wrapping up our trip with a quick stop in Tarragona, Spain.

December 2024 - Embracing the holiday spirits at Alex's dream cocktail bar in Chicago: a Christmas-themed winter wonderland!

March 2025 - During the proposal, Pete surprised Alex with both of their families in Chicago -- and one of his best friends behind the camera to capture the moment!
