Getting Around Without a Car?
Kalispell is a bit more “Montana spread out” than city-style, so transportation may require some planning. If you’re flying in and won’t have a car, here are a few helpful options if renting a car is not an option:
Uber & Lyft (limited but usually available during daytime) - Not very reliable.
Local taxis- Call ahead of time and carpool.
Hotel shuttles (some hotels offer airport pickup—ask when booking)
We recommend scheduling a ride in advance if arriving late at night.
Late May is the start of peak season around Kalispell/Glacier, so planning early really matters.
For lodging, we personally recommend booking Airbnb with other families/couples.
