Question

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Saturday, March 28. Please let us know if you will be joining us by then! You can RSVP right here on this website.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire: A suit or dress shirt with a tie is suggested. A midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates are also welcome.

Question

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are hosting an adult-only ceremony and reception. The only children attending will be those participating in the wedding party or by special invite. However, children are welcome to join us for the Welcome Event on Friday evening! To support our guests with little ones, we are pleased to offer complimentary childcare and dinner at Julia Gomez’s home on the wedding day. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope this allows you to relax and fully enjoy the celebration with us!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held indoors at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church. The reception will follow at Cohen House on the Rice University Campus, primarily indoors, with access to a beautiful outdoor area (weather permitting). April in Houston typically brings warm, balmy weather, with temperatures ranging from the high 60s to upper 80s with a fair amount of humidity. We recommend dressing comfortably for a spring celebration!

Question

How do I get to and from the hotel, ceremony, and reception?

Answer

If you are driving, free lot and street parking are available at the church during the ceremony. Complimentary parking for the reception is available in the Founder's Court Lot on the Rice campus, next to the reception venue and about a 2 minute drive or 3 minute walk from the church. Shuttle service for hotel guests will be provided between the InterContinental Houston Hotel (6750 Main Street, Houston, TX 77030), the church, and the reception venue. Additional shuttles will run throughout the evening between the reception venue and the InterContinental Hotel.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive early to allow plenty of time for parking and seating. We kindly ask that all guests be seated at the church by 4:15 PM so the ceremony can begin promptly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please include that information in your meal selection. Additionally, you may reach out to Julie or Alex directly.
