Our Engagement: Alex proposed to me right here, on a bench in Lincoln Park overlooking the city. The day he proposed I had absolutely no idea - we had started going on special 'date days' once a month where one of us would plan a special day for the other. Things are so busy in business school we had to start setting aside time for each other far in advance! 

Alex took me to a few of our favorite spots in Lincoln Park: Oyster Bar for a drink, Willow Room for lunch, Stella Barra for a cookie, then Lincoln Park to walk around. After walking nearly 7 miles with blisters on his feet, Alex got down on one knee and completely shocked me. I couldn't be happier! Then our families surprised me at the J Parker for a celebration afterwards. It was truly the perfect day!  - Grace
