Broken Bow is a brewery that is walking distance from the hotel! There is a large outdoor space with tables, chairs, and cornhole. Or you can opt to sit inside. They have different local food trucks each day, or you can also bring your own food.
We love walking and running along the Bronx River Pathway. Feel free to walk the pathway for as long (or as short) as you want! It is about a 10-15min walk from the hotel. It is nine miles long through trees and nature along the Bronx River. Of course, the parkway is right next to you, too :)
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Tuckahoe. If you have room after dinner, feel free to walk down Main Street for some ice cream at Carvel, or frozen yogurt at SwirlNJoy. Be sure to book ODO at least 1-week in advance! It’s about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
If you’re looking for an authentic coffeehouse just a short drive (or an enjoyable one-mile walk) from Tuckahoe, visit Slave to the Grind in the Village of Bronxville. The Village of Bronxville is also a quaint town with shops, boutiques, and restaurants to walk around and enjoy. Instagram: @slavetothegrind_official
Another lovely local bakery, coffee shop, and breakfast/lunch spot is Martine’s — And this is an even shorter walk than Slave to the Grind! It is around the corner from Rio Bravo, and across the street from the Crestwood Train Station (which offers an entry point to the Bronx River Pathway).
Exit the hotel parking lot, head straight up the hill all the way to the traffic light, and Jack's will be directly on your left-hand side! Jack's is an upscale Irish pub with a wide variety of food options. We recommend the "Loaded Nachos" with chicken and the "Steak Ciabatta" sandwich :)
