The Sagamore Resort

110 Sagamore Road
Bolton Landing, NY 12814

A block of rooms have been reserved at The Sagamore in Bolton Landing, NY. If calling to make your reservation, please mention the Willig/Helene Wedding in order to receive the group rate. While there are plenty of accomodation options within the Bolton Landing and Lake George area, our recommendation, if possible, is to stay at The Sagamore as all of our wedding events throughout the weekend will be on property. As a note, we sought to provide our guests with the most economical option, and therefore the room block covers rooms in the Lodge, which is about a 5-minute walk from the Resort proper. Shuttles are also available from the Lodge for guests needing assistance. For those looking to stay in the main building, rooms are available at the regular room rate.

Travel Note

Driving to Bolton Landing

Driving from either Princeton or New York City to Bolton Landing takes about four hours and is a pretty straight forward trip. From Princeton, take I-287 North, merge onto I-87 N toward Albany, and take exit 22 toward U.S. 9/NY-9N. Continue on 9N until you reach Bolton Landing. From NYC, take the FDR Drive to NJ-17 N/I-87 N to NY-912Q in Lake George. Take exit 22 toward U.S. 9/NY-9N. Continue on 9N until you reach Bolton Landing.

Train

Amtrak

We take Amtrak to head upstate all the time - this is a great option for those traveling to Bolton Landing from the NJ/NYC areas. Trains from New York-Penn Station run almost hourly to Albany-Rensselaer, which is about an hour and fifteen away, and there are typically two trains a day to Saratoga Springs, which is about 50 minutes. Amtrak does sell out, particularly during the summer months, so if this will be your preferred mode of transportation, we recommend booking in advance.

Flight

Albany International Airport

Easiest way to arrive by air is to fly into Albany International Airport (ALB). Rental Cars, Taxis, and Ride Share services are available at the airport and the drive to Bolton Landing from the airport takes about an hour via I-87 North.
