Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

No, we do not have a gift registry. We understand that the time and money needed to join in our celebration is a big ask. Your attendance truly is the greatest gift we could ask for!

When should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding is on Tuesday 24th February. We recommend arriving over the weekend (20-22 Feb) to familiarize yourself with the area and adjust to the weather. We will be arriving a week before along with other family members, and will be staying for a few days after too. You are welcome to join for as long or short as you want!

Beach Cocktail Attire. WTF is "Beach Cocktail??" Glad you asked! Drop this link in your browser for inspo: https://pin.it/2m5swm54s Shoes, ties, and jackets are totally optional. Ultimately, we want you to wear something that makes you feel *fabulous*. This is a celebration after all!

Where is the ceremony?

The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach at 4pm at Banana Beach Restaurant. Make sure to arrive 30 mins early for a welcome cocktail :)

Where should we stay?

Answer

We understand everyone is travelling on different budgets, please check the 'Where to Stay' tab for more information and recommended lodging options. Alternatively there are plenty of hotels and Air BnB's within close proximity to Banana Beach Hotel.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In Costa Rica, February marks the middle of the dry season. You can expect lots of sunshine and high temperatures, with minimal rainfall. Daytime temperatures range from 30-35'C (86-94'F) and Nighttime lows between 25-29'C (76-84'F).

Are there any group activities arranged?

Yes! We are working on a few optional group activities - more info to come. Think sunset drinks, BBQ, yoga, surfing...!

ATMs

Answer

Although credit cards are accepted, it is recommended to bring cash (USD) as some businesses won't accept credit cards. We recommend to bring some USD with you as there are only 2 ATMs in town - ATM Banco south of town and another near Banana Beach in the grocery store.
