We blocked discounted rooms at The Lodge at Spruce Peak. We encourage guests to stay either at The Lodge or at The Stowehof, as shuttles will leave from and return to those locations. Please book your accommodations as early as possible! Stowe is a popular vacation destination in June. See the Travel section for more information.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Barn at Smugglers' Notch, just 15 minutes north of Stowe. Shuttles will be provided from The Lodge at Spruce Peak and The Stowehof.
If you're taking the shuttle, please check the Travel section in early June for the final schedule. If you plan to drive, please arrive at the venue by about 4pm. This will give you time to greet family and friends, enjoy the views, and get seated before our ceremony begins at 4:30pm. The reception ends at 11pm. For those who enjoy sleep, shuttles back to The Lodge and The Stowehof will be available starting at about 9:30pm.
Yes! Please check the Travel section in early June for the official shuttle schedule.
There is free and ample parking. If you wish to drive, feel free. For your safety (and because Aly's dad is retired LAPD), buzzed/drunk driving will make the happy couple very unhappy. We are offering shuttles and highly suggest you take advantage of them.
The ceremony is planned to be outdoors on grass, so stilettos will make you look silly. Also, June weather in Vermont can be a bit of a toss up. Fingers crossed it will be a perfectly sunny, 75 degree day, but there's also potential for thunder storms and/or oppressing heat and humidity. (Lovely!) Our ultimate goal is for everyone to be comfortable and have fun. (But also don't ruin our pictures. Kidding, sorta.) The venue is climate controlled, so we are set up for a good time no matter what!
Right here! After formal invitations are sent out this spring, an RSVP page will be visible. We'll ask where you're staying for shuttle planning purposes and about dietary restrictions.
