It all started on New Year's Eve, heading into 2022, thanks to our wonderful matchmakers, Klarissa & Justin. Alexa was finishing her MBA at Georgetown, and Yannick was working nearby in Arlington. After a few initial dates, we were smitten! The real adventure began when we both moved to New York City. It was here that our love truly blossomed, defined by long walks in Central Park, finding the best croissants and the perfect Italian lunch in the West Village, and exploring the endless opportunities the city has to offer. On August 26th, while hiking down from our hotel in Eze, France to catch a train to Menton, Yannick proposed! Sweaty and completely over the moon, we missed our train, but it didn't matter. We celebrated with a glass of prosecco at a little French rest stop before exploring the rest of the French Riviera and Paris on cloud nine. Northern California's wine country holds such a special place in our hearts. It was one of our first vacations and has since become our cherished fall tradition for amazing red wine, stunning views, and incredible food. We are so excited to share this deeply special place with all of our closest friends and family for an unforgettable weekend to start this next chapter of our lives.
