San Diego International Airport

We recommend flying into this airport and renting a car before crossing the US-Mexico border at San Ysidro. It's an hour and forty-five minute drive to Valle de Guadalupe; it's an easy ride along the coast with plenty of ocean views. You can also fly into the Tijuana International Airport. This is an hour and a half drive to Valle de Guadalupe, traveling through the desert on its eastern side.

Traveling in Mexico

Driving: We've found that Google Maps and Waze work best in the area. We recommend using either of these applications while driving here. Tolls: There are many toll roads/highways in this area and most driving apps will recommend toll routes. Toll roads are generally better maintained, but both toll and public roads are safe in this region. Tolls must be paid in cash; both Mexican pesos (MXP) and American dollars (USD) are accepted at toll booths. AirBnB's: There are many beautiful AirBnB's available in the Valle area - however, most are in very remote areas, far from the main roads. It's very easy to get lost while driving to find them, especially at night. We cannot provide wedding day shuttle service to any AirBnB's; please keep this in mind if you’re considering this option.

To Ceremony: For those staying in Ensenada, shuttles will be picking up guests from the Hotel Cortez. Please be there and ready to board by 12:40pm. Please note: the shuttle will only be making one trip from Ensenada. Return shuttles to Hotel Cortez will be available in the evening.
