This Love story begins with a little girl (who couldn’t stop talking) and a little boy (who would rather not say much). Despite our differences, we both loved to dance and first met in a children's Ballet Folklorico group. We spent countless hours together - dancing, making lifelong friends and fun memories - just not with each other! Fortunately, it was this same passion for dance that would reconnect us later... By 2014, we were both dancing again and, this time, became fast friends. As we spent more time together (happy hours, concerts, volunteering, and many MANY group chats!), we discovered we were truly compatible. From the start, we could always make each other laugh and every outing together felt like an adventure. In 2016, Alexa left to dance on a tour that would span months and take her across the United States. We kept in touch during this time, calling each other nightly (although Alexa would usually doze off mid-conversation). In spite of her snores, there was definitely a spark. On Valentine's Day, Alexa received a beautiful bouquet of flowers during a show in San Antonio - from an "Anonymous" admirer! Thankfully, Anonymous came clean and the fun began: hiking, mac & cheese, boats, and lots of ice cream, until we made it official on 04.16.16. Last February, Alberto proposed after a gorgeous hike through Muir Woods. It was an unforgettable moment, twenty years in the making. We couldn’t have known it when we were eight, but there’s no doubt we’re meant to spend our lives together. It’s fate! We are beyond excited for our Wedding Weekend and can’t wait to share it with you...and so the adventure begins! ♥ Alexa & Alberto
