The charter bus is private, complimentary, and available for any wedding guests wishing to travel from the New Orleans Downtown Marriott to Stella Plantation and back. An approximately 30-minute drive from the wedding venue, and also on the east bank of the Mississippi river (you won't have to re-cross the river). We do not have any rooms blocked with this hotel.
Travel Note
This is for guests traveling from the Westbank (from towns such as Belle Chasse, Marrero, Gretna, Terrytown): It may shorten your travel time to drive onto the Belle Chasse-Scarsdale Ferry. The ferry runs approximately every 30 minutes and can take your car across the river into Scarsdale. The Scarsdale ferry landing is just ~5 minutes up the road from the venue. Check it out on Google Maps. Bring $2 cash each way. Seniors ride free. The ferry is operated by Plaquemines Parish and is not eligible for the local RTA / "Le Pass" app. (For guests traveling from Downtown or Uptown New Orleans, Metairie, and beyond, this option is not likely to help you.)
