FAQs

Question

Will there be a line dance?

Answer

Yes! Please see the line dance video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWpSbEbmdJs Youtube video title: "70's LINE DANCE Night Fever Lesson" Youtube Channel: "May I Have This Dance"

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. For women, this typically means a floor-length or ankle-length gown or jumpsuit; for men, a suit and tie or tuxedo. The ceremony is outdoors (temperatures will be ~80º F) , but the reception is indoors with air conditioning. We recommend fabrics appropriate for warm weather and shoes suitable for a gravel parking lot and a ceremony in low grass.

Question

What is the rain plan?

Answer

Rain is possible but not likely. If rain is expected for the day's forecast, the outdoor ceremony will be moved indoors to the reception space before guests arrive. It is just steps away and equipped with A/C. An umbrella is suggested for walking from your car to the venue buildings just in case. Insect repellent is also suggested. The venue will also be treating the grounds for insects in advance of the event.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests should arrive by 6:00 pm.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Stella Events and Adventures in Braithwaite, Louisiana. 4881 LA-39, Braithwaite, LA 70040 Google Maps Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/W9eNHiZZSsmnyhKv8 Apple Maps Link: https://maps.apple/p/5gGTfEDwByw-F7 Waze Link: https://ul.waze.com/ul?place=ChIJa01SOtofnogR5rkt77LRcIk&ll=29.82165130%2C-89.99458070&navigate=yes&utm_campaign=default&utm_source=waze_website&utm_medium=lm_share_location
