Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate anyone who is not named on the invite.
The dress code is formal. Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire but less dressy than black-tie. Formal wedding attire offers a bit more flexibility than black tie, so ankle-length dresses and dressy separates are acceptable (no short dresses), as well as fitted, darker-hued suits paired with a crisp white button-down and tie.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking your phones out during the ceremony. We have a photographer that we love! Feel free to take pictures during the reception.
Yes, there is a parking lot at the church and a parking lot at the country club.
Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church is about 8 minutes away from MacGregor Downs Country Club.
We understand that life happens sometimes, but please let us know as soon as possible if you're attending or not so that we tell the venue the correct numbers. Weddings are expensive! If you think there's even a chance that you're not going to attend, please RSVP "Not attending". We will celebrate with you another time!
Our ceremony starts promptly at 2:00, so we suggest getting there around 1:30 to park, find your seats, etc.
The only thing to be aware of is that during Communion, Catholic guests will receive the Eucharist (body and/or blood of Christ). If you haven't completed your First Holy Communion, you can just stay in your seat and let people slip past you. Also, there's a lot of kneeling. Get ready to stretch your legs! LOL. If you can't kneel, you can just sit. Thank you for being respectful! P.S. It would be so cool if everyone tried their best to sing the hymns! Books will be available in the pews.
We want all of our family members to celebrate with us, so yes! Your invitation should indicate that the whole family is invited.
Absolutely! Please let us know what dietary accommodations you need when you RSVP. There will be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options during dinner and the cocktail hour. Yes, the plant-based meals have protein! We need you to have energy on the dance floor.
