This is right outside of the hotel! Enjoy the numerous restaurants & activities, all while being within walking distance of the hotel.
The National Aquarium is an incredible fixture of Baltimore's inner harbor. Alec and Nani have fond memories of the bubble tubes, the jellyfish handling area, the puffin enclosure, and chasing sharks in circles. The inner harbor also has a lot to offer including an easy walk to the American Visionary Art Museum, Water Taxis, the Maryland Science Museum, and possible sightings of Mr. Trash Wheel!
Hampden is a cool/artsy spot in Baltimore to walk around and go window shopping in. But if you're going to be there, we definitely recommend stopping by Nepenthe and trying the garage fries. The Charmery is also on the main thoroughfare if you're craving some seriously strange ice cream.
A section of Baltimore close to the Inner Harbor that's famous for its restaurants, bars, and shopping. Very walkable once you get there. Includes The Horse You Came In On (oldest bar in Baltimore and the last bar Edgar Allan Poe drank at before he died) and Max's Taphouse (100+ beer taps in one location). Also highly recommend Ekiban (bao) and the Sound Garden (record store).
Free museum featuring art and an eclectic collection of other objects. Try to find the reliquaries, Grecian vases, and an aphrodisiac marten (if you find the marten, please take photos. Nani thinks its hilarious).
Home to Towson University, this suburb is a lovely little college town right next to Baltimore. A lot of excellent restaurants, a movie theater, mall, and cafes galore.
