Go explore the place we met! The young adult fellowship group from Alea's church meets there twice a month after hours and Travis & Alea are so thankful for the role it's played in their lives! While you're there, grab a yummy FREE drink as part of our wedding coffee hour! *Be sure to mention that you're with the Carter/Haywood party!* Bride's signature drink: iced lavender chai! Groom's signature drink: strawberry lemonade! But order any drink you would like! :) NOTE: the coffee shop will be open to the public during this time, so be sure to state that you are with the Haywood/Carter wedding when ordering. You may enjoy your drinks at the seating inside or outside the shop, on one of the benches down by the lake to admire the view, strolling through library park, while window shopping around town, or take your drink and head straight over to the Riviera to mingle with family & friends.
Go find the gazebo (the smaller one) in flat iron park where we were swing dancing when Travis asked Alea to be his girlfriend! Note: if you are staying at one of the two downtown hotels from our list, you will walk through this park and right past the gazebo on your way to the Riviera.
We've walked around here, we've played bocce ball here & sat in a hammock reading our Bibles together here. It's a beautiful area right on the lake! You can walk right to or from the Riviera on the same sidewalk that circles the park.
Go take some photos in front of the famous fountain in Lake Geneva...it's right outside of the venue, so it's a great place to end your walk around town! And don't forget to walk around to the back to see the iconic historical wooden tour boats, which is another great spot for photos!
