Great question we would love to tell you. We want to make this event as safe as we possibly can for all of our guests. So please be prepared to show proof of vaccine at the reception. You can bring a picture of your vaccination card or the card itself. Whatever you’re comfortable bringing. You will not be allowed in without proof. And we wouldn’t want you to miss the party- it’s open bar!
We love kids, but this event is going to be kid free. Thank you for understanding!
Cocktail to formal attire. Just don’t wear white- I have girlfriends who will judge you. *NOTE ABOUT HEELS* While the ceremony and reception will be indoors, the walk on the wharf is cobblestone. Unless you are Rihanna or God, I’d consider a block heel. Weather: November is an interesting time in DC in that it could be a cool night or it could be cold. Keep an eye out a few days before.
Great thing about Washington, DC is the easy transportation. If you’re staying at the Wharf, I’d say to keep your car parked and rely on ride shares or the metro.
Parking at the church: Church parking is limited but available. Street parking might also be an option. Parking at the Wharf: Upside is parking and underground. Downside is that it can be pricey if you’re not staying at a hotel. And street parking can be risky but not impossible.
