Michael and Alba grew up in Del Rio and first met in high school. After graduation, Alba ventured to Texas Tech and Michael to Incarnate Word. Post college, their careers brought them both to Dallas, where they reconnected and the rest is history. They both enjoy traveling (somehow Michael's golf clubs always tag along), a good home cooked meal (primarily curated by Michael), see all the latest films and sharing a bottle of red wine. They both love to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Texas Tech, however, they stand opposite when it comes to basketball with Alba favoring the San Antonio Spurs & Michael cheering for his Dallas Mavericks. Their favorite pastime is relaxing at home with their dog, Lola and going on weekend coffee dates to catch up from the work week.

Michael was on a work trip where his return flight included multiple delays and switching planes that resulted in an arrival home way past midnight. The next morning Alba chose to work from the dining room to give Michael more time to snooze. While she was having coffee, he came downstairs with his backpack. The next few minutes were a bit of blur that ended with long embraces and an official “YES." All while Lola stared at them wondering why her breakfast was taking so long.
