Question

What's going on the day before the wedding?

Answer

On Saturday, we will attend a private dinner with our parents and wedding party. Later that night, there will be a "Venetian Hour" dessert event held in a private room at the Delaney House, the building directly next to the D. Hotel. This is event is for all out-of-town guests to attend to mingle and see us and our families before the big day! There will be a large dessert spread provided, as well as coffee and tea. We will not be serving alcohol, but you can purchase drinks from the bar, The Mick, located inside The Delaney House. We hope to see you there!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests are allowed to arrive to the venue at 3pm, 30 minutes prior to the start time of the ceremony. We ask that you please arrive on time. We will start without you!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

For those of you staying at The D. Hotel Suites & Spa, there will be a free 14 person shuttle that will make trips to the venue. If you are not staying at the hotel, there is plenty of free parking at the venue. If you have further questions regarding the shuttle, please call the D. Hotel Suites & Spa front desk at (413) 533-2100.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the welcome event is cocktail attire. The day of wedding events are formal/black tie optional. The morning after breakfast is casual.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We wish for you to be fully present with us during this special moment, so the ceremony is "unplugged". Please make sure all electronic devices are turned off and put away prior to the start of the ceremony. The wedding photographer will capture the special moments and we will gladly share those pictures with you.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation envelope includes "& Guest", please feel free to bring a plus one. We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love all the kids in our lives, please understand that all of the events of the wedding are adults only. We would love to celebrate with you and your kids at another time!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for you to enjoy during cocktail hour and the reception, so please be sure to have a photo ID with you. Please also note that while there will be free drinks for you, there will be a tip jar out for the bartenders. We hope you enjoy our signature cocktails!

Question

Can I make a toast?

Answer

If you were not asked to make a toast, we kindly request that you do not make one. This is for timing purposes to make sure the events of the evening move along smoothly. Thank you for your understanding!
