In 2015, while Match.com helped them connect, Alanna and Nick didn't need much more to feel an instant connection. It was when they first met at Alanna's old hosting job, Bonefish Grill, where they both knew this was only the beginning of a long and beautiful love story. Since that night, Alanna and Nick created a life together in Agawam, MA full of Alanna's home-cooked meals, Nick's hilarious banter, bunny fur, and tons of laughs!

In 2020, Alanna and Nick vacationed in Cancun to celebrate their five year anniversary. After a few sunny days, they decided to take advantage of a photo shoot opportunity. Although it began to rain, Alanna and Nick were "shore" that pictures on the beach were worth their time. While they walked in the sand, Alanna turned away from Nick to watch a pelican fly above. It was his "hey babe?" that turned her around and see him down on one knee. Even the photographer had no idea! The moment was captured in film, and in their memories, for many years to come.
