Question

How far is the venue from where I will be staying?

Answer

The venue is in a slightly more rural area, atop one of the region's rolling hills about 30 minutes outside of the nearest town of Pienza, where there are a number of hotels, stores and restaurants.

Question

How can I get around?

Answer

We recommend renting a car or carpooling if you intend to explore the region on your own. Cabs are available but can be limited. Transportation will be made available to each of the wedding-sponsored events.

Question

Is there parking near where I will be staying?

Answer

Yes, and we encourage you to contact your hotel directly as they may include complimentary parking as part of your stay.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue on the wedding day?

Answer

There is limited parking at the venue, but we encourage our guests to take advantage of the shuttle service that we will be providing in order to reduce crowding, keep everyone safe at night and avoid getting lost!

Question

Can I make a special dietary request?

Answer

Yes, please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP.

Question

What are the COVID-related travel protocols for when I arrive?

Answer

You will need to complete an EU Digial Passenger Locator (https://app.euplf.eu/) prior to departure. Upon arrival, you will need to present proof of vaccination at least 14 days before travel, recovery from an infection no more than 6 months before travel or a negative PCR or rapid test within 48 hours of departure.

Question

What are the COVID-related travel protocols for when I return to the US?

Answer

You will be required to show a negative test result, no more than 3 days before travel, to the airline before boarding, regardless of vaccination status.

Question

How can I get a COVID test while in Italy?

Answer

Rapid testing is available at all major airports or by contacting your hotel. You can also arrange to have an at home test delivered to your hotel - our planner recommends eMed (emed.com), a rapid self-administered test verified via video app that provides QR coded results accepted everywhere.

Question

What are the COVID-related protocols in Italy during my visit?

Answer

For the wedding-related events, each venue is responsible for checking that all attendees over 12 are fully vaccinated or have a negative test within 48 hours. To visit museums or dine indoors, you are required to be vaccinated or have a negative test within 48 hours.
