Explore Acadia National Park
For sightseeing, drive the 27-mile Park Loop Road and to the top of Cadillac Mountain, the highest point in the park (advance reservations required at Recreation.gov). Jordan Pond House has tea & popovers!
Recommended easy hikes include the Jordan Pond Loop and Ocean Path. The Beehive Loop and Precipice Trail are for the adventurers!
On the Water
Head to the downtown piers for a tour with Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co. to see humpbacks and seals. If you're extending your trip, the high-speed CAT ferry goes to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia in 3.5 hours (passport required!).
