Main Street in Huntington Beach is the heart of the city and a great place for guests to explore. Just steps from the beach and the iconic pier, it’s filled with restaurants, cafés, shops, and bars—perfect for grabbing a bite, enjoying a drink, or soaking up the classic surf-town vibe.
Pacific City
Pacific City is a beautiful oceanfront shopping and dining destination just steps from the beach in Huntington Beach. Guests can enjoy great restaurants, boutique shops, and relaxed outdoor spaces with stunning views of the ocean and the pier—perfect for a casual meal, sunset drinks, or a scenic stroll by the water.
Disneyland Park & California Adventure Park
If you’re extending your stay, a visit to Disneyland Park & California Adventure is a fun and easy day trip from Huntington Beach. Located just about 30 minutes away in Anaheim, it’s the perfect chance to experience iconic rides, classic Disney magic, and unforgettable entertainment while you’re in Southern California!
Downtown Disney District
If you’re looking for something fun to do off the beach, Downtown Disney District is a great nearby outing for wedding guests. Located in Anaheim, about 30 minutes from Huntington Beach, it’s a lively outdoor area filled with great restaurants, unique shops, live music, and Disney-themed treats—perfect for a relaxed evening or a casual stroll without needing a park ticket.
Old Town Seal Beach & Pier
Just a short drive from Huntington Beach, Old Town Seal Beach offers a charming small-town coastal vibe. Guests can wander along Main Street, explore local shops and cafés, and take in stunning ocean views from the historic Seal Beach Pier. It’s extra special to me because it was one of my favorite beaches growing up—a place full of memories. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot whales off the shore!
Old Towne Orange
About 30 minutes from Huntington Beach, Old Towne Orange Historic District offers a charming step back in time. Centered around the famous Orange Circle, the area is known for its historic buildings, antique shops, cozy cafés, and great local restaurants—perfect for a relaxed afternoon of browsing, dining, and exploring. Highly reccomend trying Bruxie for brunch or lunch!
Fashion Island
Just about 20 minutes from Huntington Beach, Fashion Island is a beautiful open-air shopping and dining destination in Newport Beach. With palm-lined walkways, ocean views, stylish boutiques, and great restaurants, it’s a perfect spot for guests to enjoy a relaxed afternoon shopping, grabbing a meal, or soaking up the classic coastal Orange County vibe.
Balboa Island
Just minutes away from Huntington Beach, this charming coastal spot offers beautiful harbor views, quaint shops, and a relaxed beach-town vibe. Take a stroll along the waterfront, enjoy a famous frozen banana, and soak in the classic Southern California charm!
Pelican Hill Golf Club
If you have time during the weekend, we highly recommend a visit to Pelican Hill Golf Club. Since we know we have quite a few golfers in the group, this spot is truly special. Perched above the ocean, the course offers incredible coastal views and one of the most beautiful golf experiences in Southern California. Even if you’re not playing a full round, it’s a great place to grab a drink, take in the scenery, and enjoy a little sunshine by the coast! Because it's a popular spot, we advice you book your tee times up to 14 days in advance!
Oak Creek Golf Club and Driving Range
If you’re hoping to sneak in a round of golf during the weekend, Oak Creek Golf Club and Driving Range is a great option. It’s a bit more price-friendly while still being a beautiful and fun course. We know we have lots of golfers in the group, so it’s a perfect spot to get some swings in, enjoy the sunshine, and spend some relaxed time on the course during the wedding weekend.
Knott's Berry Farm
If you’re looking for some fun during the weekend or week you're here, Knott's Berry Farm is a blast! It was one of my favorite roller coaster stops growing up, and it still brings back so many great memories. With classic rides, great food, and a little bit of nostalgia, it’s a fun way to experience a local Southern California favorite.
The Queen Mary
We’d love for you to visit the Queen Mary before or after the wedding. This historic ocean liner is full of charm, with tours, dining, and stunning harbor views. It’s especially sentimental for us—it’s where my parents got married back in 1997—so visiting here feels like stepping into a piece of our family history!
Belmont Shore & 2nd St.
If you’re looking for a classic local spot to explore, Long Beach is full of charm—and it’s especially close to our hearts. I grew up eating, shopping, and exploring down here, and it’s home to some of our favorite restaurants and bars. Stop by staples like Legends, Open Sesame, Dales Diner, and Sweet Jill’s Bakery, grab a drink at Crows, or go ‘shoot the root’ at Shannon's Bayshore. It’s a perfect mix of nostalgia, great food, and local vibes.
Shoreline Village
For a fun local outing, we recommend checking out Shoreline Village. Just a short drive from Huntington Beach, this colorful waterfront spot is full of charm with shops, restaurants, and stunning harbor views. Stop by the Aquarium of the Pacific, grab a bite at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., or just stroll along the boardwalk and soak up the lively seaside vibes. It’s a classic SoCal mix of fun, food, and ocean views!
Griffith Observatory
If you have time to explore Los Angeles during the weekend, a visit to the famous Griffith Observatory is always worth it. It’s one of those iconic LA spots with incredible views of the city and the Hollywood Sign—and movie lovers might recognize it from La La Land. It’s a fun, classic stop and a great way to take in a little Southern California magic.

Whether you hike up for a closer view or just snap a photo from one of the nearby viewpoints, it’s a great way to experience a little Hollywood magic during the weekend.
Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Strolling along the The Hollywood Walk of Fame and spotting the names of your favorite stars is such a quintessential LA experience. It’s also close to other iconic spots like the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Dolby Theatre, and great views of the Hollywood Sign—making it easy to see several famous Hollywood landmarks in one visit

The Santa Monica Pier is such a fun spot to visit, no matter what age you are! From the classic Ferris wheel and arcade to the ocean views and lively atmosphere, it’s a fan favorite to soak up the sun, enjoy the sights, and make a few unforgettable memories by the water.

Venice Beach is one of the most vibrant, eclectic energy beaches in Southern California—with street performers, colorful murals, and the famous boardwalk. Featured in iconic movies like Barbie, Iron Man, La La Land, and The Big Lebowski, ithe are is a fun mix of pop culture and real-life California charm.
L.A. Live
For a fun night out, LA Live is a great stop! This lively entertainment complex has something for everyone—amazing restaurants, rooftop bars, live music, the Microsoft Theater, the Grammy Museum, and even a movie theater. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite, catch a show, and soak up the energy of downtown LA!
Universal Studios Hollywood
If you’re up for a full day of fun, Universal Studios Hollywood is a must-visit, especially if you;ve never been to SOCAL before! Beyond thrilling rides and immersive attractions, you can explore iconic sets, enjoy the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and catch live shows. Many popular movies, TV shows, and talk shows are still filmed here, so you might even glimpse some behind-the-scenes magic!

For a relaxing and fun outing, The Grove is a great stop for Huntington Beach wedding guests.
