Magic Kingdom is known for Cinderella's Castle and classic rides such as It's a Small World, Jungle Cruise, and Space Mountain, as well as newer attractions like the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. Visit each of the lands in Magic Kingdom, including Adventureland, Fantasyand, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland, as well as Liberty Square and Mainstreet USA to check out all the fun!
Epcot is our favorite Disney theme park! This is the first park we visited together. At Epcot, you can have fun learning about other cultures and enjoying food and drinks around the World Showcase. Attractions like Mission: Space, Soarin', Living with the Land, and Test Track are also fun!
Animal Kingdom has many exciting animal exhibits and walking trails, as well as rides including the Kilimanjaro Safari open-air savanna vehicle tour and the Avatar Flight of Passage 3D exhilarating experience (Please note: Expedition Everest roller coaster will be closed for refurbishment from January - April 2022).
Hollywood Studios has attractions such as The Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, as well as Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge with various rides including Slinky Dog Dash and Smugglers Run, where you can pilot the Millennium Falcon.
Universal has two exciting parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, plus a water park, Volcano Bay. The City Walk area features fun dining and shopping options. Visit Islands of Adventure to check out the Wizarding World of Harry Potter's Hogsmeade and ride Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Check out Universal Studios to enjoy Diagon Alley and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. Other popular rides include The Incredible Hulk Coaster (Islands of Adventure) and the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (Universal Studios); both parks have fun shops to enjoy as well.
About 30 (or 40 with traffic) minutes from the Lake Buena Vista area, Park Avenue is a pretty spot in Winter Park that has many shops and dining options, as well as museums and a boat tour. Winter Park is near Downtown Orlando, for those of you curious to check this out as well! While in Winter Park, visit Harry P. Leu Gardens to enjoy the paved walking trails with blooming flowers.
About an hour away from Orlando, you can find the nearest beach: Cocoa Beach (45 minutes - 1 hour). If you're willing to drive a little further, come visit the beaches close to Adam and Alaina (2 hours) in Clearwater or St. Pete! Other popular beach options within 1 hour to 2 hours of Orlando include New Smyrna Beach (just over an hour), Daytona Beach (just over an hour), and Siesta Key (just over 2 hours).
Located along International Drive, ICON Park offers attractions such as The Wheel and Madame Tussaud’s, as well as many dining options. There is no fee to park or admission cost, however, individual attractions may have a cost and attraction packages can be purchased.
