FAQs

If you have any questions other than what you see listed below, please feel free to reach out to us and we would be happy to help!
Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception take place outdoors at Paradise Cove, 13245 Lake Bryan Drive, in Orlando, FL 32821. The reception will be under a covered pavilion.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Orlando has countless places to stay that work with a range of budgets! From booking hotel rooms or suites, to renting a condo or townhome, you can find many affordable and luxurious lodging options. We want you to stay wherever you feel most comfortable. Our wedding venue is about 10 minutes from the Lake Buena Vista area of Orlando, which is close to Disney. We will be staying at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace (Disney Springs Area).

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Orlando traffic can be tricky and our venue is on a street that may be difficult to reach. Please plan to leave early in order to arrive at 4:15pm. The right turn for Lake Bryan Drive is only accessible when driving North on FL-535 (AKA South Apopka Vineland Road). This is a busy, congested area off of I-4 near Disney Springs, and the turn to the venue may be easy to miss as it is only accessible from one side. We wish you the best and know you can do it!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 4:15pm, and no earlier than 4pm. Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:30pm. Please plan to arrive at 4:15pm as traffic can be difficult to navigate and the entrance to Lake Bryan Drive may be challenging to access. For you early birds out there, please plan to arrive no earlier than 4pm. Prior to 4pm, we will still be setting up to make the magic of our special day happen!

Question

What should I expect for the weather?

Answer

February in Florida is one of the most beautiful months! The weather is typically clear, with sunny skies and fresh air that can range from mid to low 70s to low 50s. Most days during this month have a high of 74 and a low of 52. Although February is one of the best months in the Sunshine State, it can rain at any time, so an umbrella or poncho could be wise, too! Consider bringing a sweater, wrap, jacket, etc. for the cooler evening temperatures in the 60s-50s and cross your fingers for us to have beautiful weather!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for you to dress up in semi-formal/cocktail attire. This could look like a cocktail dress or a longer, more formal dress, a dressy jumpsuit or blouse and skirt, a suit and tie, or a nice shirt with a jacket and slacks. Most importantly, please be comfortable! For your awareness as you plan footwear, there is a small, sandy beach and dock to enjoy at this venue. As it may get chilly in the evening, a jacket, sweater, or wrap may be needed.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Appetizers and drinks will be served while the wedding party takes photos for about an hour. After the cocktail hour, the reception will take place at the same venue and will include a buffet meal along with all the other fun wedding festivities!

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

In Orlando fun can be had both ways: with kids and with just adults! If you would like to bring your children to the ceremony and reception, please let us know by January 1st, 2022 and we would be happy to accomodate.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and keep our event attendance limited, due to COVID. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you cannot attend without bringing your children or another dependent plus-one, please let us know by January 1st, 2022 and we would be happy to accommodate you.

Question

Are masks required? What can I expect with COVID protocols?

Answer

Masks are optional, but recommended when in indoor spaces like restrooms. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, with the reception being held under an open-air, covered pavilion. We are doing our best to keep numbers limited. Other Central Florida locations will have their own requirements around masks, so packing a few may be a good idea!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Thank you so much for thinking of us! Under the "Registry" tab, we have created a small registry with Pottery Barn and are also accepting anything you feel comfortable giving toward our honeymoon, which will include exploring arts, culture, and the great outdoors in national parks out west!

Question

What time does the event end?

Answer

Our reception ends at 10:00pm with a bubble exit!

Question

How can we share photos from the event?

Answer

Please feel free to text or email us photos, or use our wedding hashtag when posting on social media! - Hashtag: #alainaandadam - Text: (561) 236 - 9558 - Email: Alainarahaim95@gmail.com
