Yes! Think of it as a domestic destination wedding... We have reserved this beautiful 70-acre property exclusively for our wedding guests from Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning. All events and meals will occur on the estate.
It is not often we get to bring the most important people from all aspects of our lives together onto one property for an extended celebration. We're thinking of this as a fall vacation, a reunion, a wedding, and an epic mountain retreat all rolled into one. We chose to book three nights to give our guests more flexibility in their travel arrangements for arrival between Thursday night and Friday. If we had reserved the stay for only Friday-Sunday, guests would not have been able to arrive until after 4pm on Friday. The extra night additionally allows for more quality time spent with those able to arrive early. Regretfully, we cannot reduce the flat rate fee for guests that are only able to join us for a portion of our stay. However, you can certainly reserve your own accommodations off-site and join us on the estate for each day's activities and for meals for a fee. The fee is $19 per person per breakfast or lunch, and $85 per dinner (not including the wedding reception meal, which is of course covered by Kiralynne & Andrew!). Please submit payment for off-site guest meals no later than August 1st, 2025 so the chef can be sure to include you in the meal counts.
Once you have RSVP'd here on our website, head to hawkesdene.com/guest-payments, select “Kiralynne & Andrew - September 20, 2025” in the “name of couple or group" drop-down. The cost of the weekend is $400/adult. You can either pay a one-time flat fee per adult of $400.00 (ie, $800 per couple) or pay half by March 1st, 2025 and the second half before August 1st, 2025. Your payment will confirm your reservation and cover the entirety of your three night stay, including luxury private accommodations for the weekend (with kitchenettes and laundry machines), meals beginning the evening you arrive through the morning you leave, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and access to a 24/7 snack bar. There are individual cottages of various sizes throughout the property. Upon your reservation, you and your party will be assigned to a special cottage chosen specifically for you based on party size, family & friend groups. Lodging assignment will be provided upon your arrival by the staff at Hawkesdene.
Due to capacity restrictions, we must regretfully limit the number of children who will be joining us to close/immediate family. You will see your childs name included with your family when you RSVP on our website if we are able to accommodate them. The fee for children over 8 years old will be $200/child. Toddlers and babies under 3 years old are excluded from this fee and restriction and are welcome to join us, as we recognize it can be difficult and undesirable to leave the littlest members of your family. Please reach out to us if you are considering bringing along a tiny tot so we can discuss sleeping arrangements.
We’ve spent many hours thoughtfully arranging family and friend groups together. Rest assured you will know the people you’ve been assigned with. The Hawkesdene staff will give your room assignment upon arrival, or let us know if you're getting in after hours and we will provide it in advance. Please note, use of some pullout couches may be utilized in order to keep groups together and maximize on-site guests in cottages. The Hawkesdene staff have assured us no expense has been spared on these mattresses and guests will be comfortable. For more information on accommodations, please see the "Venue" tab!
Your meals will include freshly prepared farm-to-table breakfast, lunch, dinner and unlimited snacks and beverages. Alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the weekend. There is also a fully functioning kitchen and fridge provided for each accommodation.
There will be vegetarian and gluten-free options available at each meal. Please let us know if you have any other dietary restrictions or allergies and we can pass that along to the estate's kitchen, who are more than happy to accommodate! The Hawkesdene Estate staff have assured us their team is well versed in food allergies, so all of our guests can relax & enjoy without stress. If you are allergic to dogs, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assign you to a pet-free cottage.
While we cannot predict the weather this far out in advance, the average temps range from 54 - 70 degrees in Andrews, NC during September. All wedding festivities will take place outside, so be sure to pack accordingly. Our best advice is to dress with layers and pack some options!
For the rehearsal, attire is dressy casual/ semi-formal. Think dresses, skirts, jumpers, dressy pant outfits, nice jeans, slacks, button-down shirts, open-collar or polo shirts. For the ceremony & wedding, come dressed to impress! Formal attire, black tie optional. Please wear dresses & gowns, dressy suits, and tuxes. Please note, the ceremony will be on grass or gravel. Thick or wide-base heels should be okay, but stiletto's are not recommended due to risk for personal injury. The dance floor will be pavement. If you would like to join the group hike or adventure to an offsite location, make sure to bring some outdoorsy clothes. Don't forget your tennis shoes. Bring casual clothing/ athleisure for lawn games. We recommend bringing a jacket/sweater as evening temperatures can drop into the 50's. There is central heating in all lodging, as well as fire pits throughout the estate for gatherings. Space heaters may be provided if necessary. We are hoping for clear, sunny skies, but monitor the weather when packing to determine if a rain jacket will be needed.

We recommend bringing your favorite beverages for daytime and late night activities, and if you need to make a grocery run, there are an Ingles and a Walgreens 10 minutes away. Each cottage is equipped with it's own refrigerator for personal beverages & snacks.
Hawkesdene allows small-medium dogs! We ask that you please use your discretion in bringing well-behaved, trained animals only, as they will be staying in a shared cottage and there will be young children, other animals, and potentially loud noises. You will be liable directly to Hawkesdene for any damages incurred by your pet. Please let us know if you will be bringing a furry friend as soon as possible so we can assign cottages appropriately, keeping those with allergies in mind!
